Privacy policy

Short, because there is not much to say: no accounts, no list, no data sales.

Last updated: August 31, 2026

Draft & Door does not require an account, does not sell data, and collects only what is needed to run the site: anonymized analytics, and whatever you type into the contact form. Affiliate links pass to the retailer, whose own privacy policy then applies.

What we collect

Data, purpose and retention
WhatWhyHow long
Analytics (page views, device type, approximate region, buy-click events)To see which pages are useful and which buy links are actually usedPer Google Analytics retention settings
Contact form: your name, email, subject and messageSo we can read and reply to itKept in our mailbox as ordinary correspondence
Server logs (IP address, user agent, request path)Security, rate limiting on the contact form, and debuggingShort-term, per our hosting provider's defaults

What we do not collect

  • No accounts, so no passwords and no profiles.
  • No newsletter list. There is no signup form on this site.
  • No payment information. We never sell anything or take a payment — purchases happen entirely on the retailer's site.
  • No cross-site tracking pixels beyond the analytics described above.
  • We never sell, rent or trade personal data. There is no arrangement under which that could happen.

Cookies and analytics

This site uses Google Analytics 4 to count visits and to record when a buy link is clicked. That involves cookies set by Google. We use it to understand which pages are worth expanding and which are not — not to build a profile of you, and not for advertising.

You can block it. Browser settings, private browsing, an ad blocker or Google's own opt-out browser add-on all work, and the site functions identically with analytics blocked.

When you click a buy link, you pass through our own `/go/` redirect and then to the retailer, with our Amazon Associates tracking identifier attached. That tells Amazon the visit came from us, which is how any commission is attributed. Once you are on the retailer's site, their privacy policy governs — we receive no personal information about you from them, only aggregate earnings reports. Full details on affiliate disclosure.

Third parties involved in running this site

  • Vercel — hosting and content delivery. Processes requests and keeps short-term server logs.
  • Google Analytics 4 — the analytics described above.
  • Microsoft Graph (Azure) — sends the contact form's contents to our mailbox. Nothing else passes through it.
  • Amazon — the retailer at the end of our buy links, once you choose to click one.

The contact form

What you type is emailed to us and nothing more. There is no database behind it, and no marketing list. The form uses a hidden field and a submission timer to block automated spam — neither collects anything about you, and your IP is used only to rate-limit submissions.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Your rights

Depending on where you live you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data we hold about you. In practice, the only personal data we hold is contact-form correspondence in a mailbox. Email info@draftanddoor.com and we will act on it.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes will be described rather than quietly substituted.
