A site whose whole argument is "check our reasoning" has to make it easy to report when the reasoning is off. Corrections are welcome and they get dated.
What we are best at answering
- A specification on a page that no longer matches the manufacturer's listing
- A pick that has been discontinued or is permanently out of stock
- A gap range you think we have read wrong
- A question about which part fits a specific measured gap
What we cannot do
- Diagnose a structural or damp problem from a description
- Advise on anything involving garage door springs, gas appliances or wiring — those need a professional in the room
- Accept product submissions or sponsorship. We do not take either
